Piranha dying I think?

Postby je2851 » Wed May 09, 2007 12:50 am

Had piranha since a baby at 1992, home is a 30 show tank, he hasn't eaten in two days, decided to change his water anyway, seems to be in shock, swimming erractically, sometimes floating. Any help will do to righten his ship! Help!

Can you post the water conditions, Also you say it's in a 30! 30 what litre UK gallons, US gallons? what size is your fish? what filtration do you have and what have you been feeding?

But if you have had the fish 15 years then i'd say he's had a good life and is more than likely on his way out... In a larger tank he might have lasted some years more but 15 is a long life for a RBP.

Paul.
