Pleco identiy

Anybody know the identity of this little fella which I have had for over 6 months ?

A better picture would be better 😊 but I'm pretty sure it's a Bristlenose.

Black eyed Lemon Bristlenose (Ancistrus sp4) quite often (wrongly) called L144 but although a strain of the L144 it is thought that no true L144 exists.

3 years later now, and in the last month he has had these growths appear. Any idea what they are ?

I would say they appeared suddenly. Could it be a Nitrate (NO3) issue ?
