If feasible some shrink tubing slid/slidden/slipped over the exposed section might do the trick ??
Possibly 2 part epoxy glue smeared over the open section you can get it fully cured in 5 mins .
Superglue is another option but as not in a contact both sides situation will need an hour or so to cure fully .

Plenty of options :-)

CJ :-)

Oh and a useless piece of trivia for you, the reason superglue is expensive, is that the interior of the tubes needs to be coated to stop the glue bonding to it :-)

Is this for "under water" or "above water"? If above, what's wrong with some basic electrical tape?

its for Led lights, but the tank is hot so there is lot of humidity and evaporating on the Lid where they will be placed.

Im going to use heatshrink, but I need the end sealed. I dont want to risk anything! So I might try Superglue or is it conductive?

Heatshrink tubing will be fine. If you are not happy with that, spend 5-10 at your LFS and get some silicon.
