Shubunkins are "common" goldfish, which means they are one of the single-tailed varieties best suited to living in ponds.

Kept in good conditions, most will grow to 12+ inches in their first 2-3 years.

They need a minimum tank size of 200 litres, or 80 litres per common goldfish (so 200 litres for one or two, 240 for 3, 320 for 4, etc). You can see why they are better suited to ponds....

What kind of tank is yours in with what tankmates?

An average one between 12 and 16 inches if they have the correctly sized home.
