i wanted those a fue months ago but i cant find them any where only a fue places in america have them. i reserched them. they like to live with outher fresh water pipefish but not with outher fish.

Again, not got the best camera for this, but have a look at these!

Tank is a 36" rainwater tank, 6.8 pH, 26 degrees celcius, external filter and homemade Co2 dosing.

It's called Seahorses, Pipefishes and Their Relatives. Excellent book.

You can find it in good aquatic stores; Amazon don't tend to stock it. It's one of those quite specialist books. My LFS keep it in their marine section.

Your tank is wonderfull sagarfuzz; I envy you :-)

Hi there,

Thanks, I think my tank needs a lot of improvement, but you always see the faults in your own aquarium!

I got them from a Maidenhead Aquatics in Worthing. I'm keeping an eye out in case they get some more.

Yesterday I noticed my Pipefish picking eggs off my Armano Shrimp - weird! I know he stalks the Sparkling Gourami nests to eat the fry - he stands up straight like stick and sneaks in close, and although they peck him he isn't bothered. Half the time they aren't sure he is there.
